Big Whig Media hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the launch of its media center at the Willard Hotel in downtown D.C.

Designed to serve as a shared studio to be utilized by associations, government agencies, organizations, news outlets, media companies and individuals looking to create compelling content, states a release, Big Whig Media provides state-of-the-art equipment in a premier downtown location allowing for groups to use the facility as needed.

“Today’s celebration was not only one that highlights the history of the great location chosen as the site for Big Whig Media, but the bright future ahead for the entire Willard Center thanks to Big Whig Media,” said Oliver T. Carr Jr, (center in photo), chairman of Carr Companies and co-founder of Big Whig Media.

“We wanted to create a space that allows organizations to focus on sharing their message when they want instead of focusing on building an entire studio for a weekly podcast or a live TV hit.” said Keith Nahigian, (holding scissor), president of Nahigian Strategies and co-founder of Big Whig Media. “Big Whig Media is meant to be your D.C. bureau or studio location that can be customized and branded as your own whenever you need. Our downtown location next door to the White House and across the street from City Hall ensures those visiting the District can catch a glimpse of the newsmaking process right from our studio windows on Pennsylvania Avenue.”
