Mark Moynihan, Experienced Broadcast and Network News Producer, Joins Big Whig Media from Fox News
Mark Joins as Director of Production and Development
WASHINGTON – Big Whig Media, a new full-service multimedia center and D.C.’s first ground-floor independent studio today officially announced the addition of Mark Moynihan as Director of Production and Development for their downtown Washington, D.C. studio complex.
Moynihan is a highly regarded specialist in broadcast and network news, with over two decades of experience managing teams and productions behind the camera. He’s worked for major news outlets, TV networks, and shows while establishing a reputation for excellence in broadcast and digital projects, team management, story pitching, digital video editing, camera operations, and affiliate relations.
“Mark’s success across various newsrooms and TV networks makes him an exciting addition to our growing team,” said Keith Nahigian, co-founder of Big Whig Media. “His experience in helping people bring their video and digital ideas to life will be a great asset for our studio customers, especially as they plan their content for the remainder of the year. Moynihan most recently served as a nightside bureau manager for Fox News Channel, where he supervised newsgathering, prepared coverage, managed story development and execution, and ensured authenticity, accuracy, and proper attribution standards were met. Prior to working for Fox News, he was the broadcast production manager for PBS NewsHour, and a managing editor for Fox’s America’s Most Wanted. He has also worked for Associated Press Television, and various local TV news outlets.
